Next Steps Australia Limited was established in 2016 after our founding Chairperson, Bernadette Blair, recognised a need for basic manchester items to be provided to women and children fleeing domestic violence and seeking alternative accommodation.
We are a company limited by guarantee and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC). Next Steps Australia Limited is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient and donations to Next Steps Australia Limited are tax deductible.

The members of Next Steps Australia’s Board and Support Team donate their time on a voluntary basis. No Board Director or member of our Support Team receive financial remuneration.

Our mission is to support survivors of domestic and family violence in establishing independent homes and lives by providing Starter Packs of essential manchester items to families who are forced to leave their homes due to violence.
We aim to supply at least 365 Starter Packs each year to families in need, meaning that each day of each year, Next Steps Australia is helping at least one mother or child start a new life.
